Davis Mk15 Master Sextant

The Davis Mark15 sextant is the best non-metal sextant available, using a conventional half-silvered mirror and fully ribbed, stable body with pistol grip handle.

The Mark 15 is made from high-impact, weather resistant plastic. The fully ribbed sextant body provides strength and stability. A large, contoured handle provides a sure, steady grip.

A total of seven large sunshades allow independent adjustment of shade density for the horizon and index mirrors. A 3x27mm star telescope with anti-reflective coating and a separate hooded sight tube for glare-free sun shots are included. The sextant is fitted with a lanyard.

The travel gear and worm are precision machined for accuracy. The numerals on drum and vernier allow readings to 0.2 minutes of arc.

The sextant comes in a hard plastic foam-lined case; a comprehensive instruction booklet is included.
